Aroop creates custom made woven fabrics while minimizing waste. Using carefully created weaves, Aroop creates beautiful and subtle pieces for women while also upcycling scraps to make other products.
How are your products sustainable?
AROOP celebrates the art of dressing – it denotes ‘extremely beautiful’ in Sanskrit.  Our fabrics are custom-woven in India, they are made from natural fibres hence are organic, vegan and easily recyclable. The label stands for fashion that’s rooted, timeless and speaks of quality craftsmanship. Comfortable fabrics, subdued colours with intrinsic silhouettes are the brand’s identity. We strongly believe in giving back to Mother Earth as much as we benefit from her. We strive to ensure minimum waste while producing every bit of clothing and upcycle left-over small scraps. Our packaging is sustainable as we use seedable tags and business cards that are a delight to our customers.
Most important sustainable aspect:
Most important sustainable aspect is reducing carbon footprint as much as possible. We encourage everyone to buy less and invest in garments that will stay longer. We suggest our customers to take good care of their garments to keep their quality intact.
How is your packaging sustainable?

Our packaging material consists of seedable paper for tags and business cards. Our clothing and other products go in cotton bags made out of leftover fabric. We ensure that zero plastic is used in our packaging.

Our Review

Finishing & Notions
Aroop is extremely careful with their finishing. Each garment is lined well to protect the fabric and not cause any damage to the woven textiles.
The two jackets we reviewed, neither had any closure giving people the option to pair them with multiple outfits.
Overall, these garments are made to last longer.
Aroop's textiles are intentionally created keeping longevity in mind. To the touch, these fabrics are extremely soft yet sturdy.
They are also very light and can be worn in different climates.
These versatile weaves are woven with lighter base fabrics, this gives us the option to wear the garment round the clock.
Overall Review
All in all, Aroop's clothing is worth the investment. For garments that are made using high quality threads and weaves, they're priced fairly and wont make a dent in your pocket.
Whether you like to experiment with your styling or you don't, Aroop clothing gives you the option to create subtle as well as bold looks.
